- Participated at age 17 in the French Championships (Roland Garros) representing Sweden in the main draw and in the junior tournament, played in Wimbledon (also for Sweden in the qualifying rounds), and in other tournaments of the European circuit such as Monte Carlo and Nice
- Ranked as a junior in the Eastern Tennis Association U.S.A. (singles and doubles with Nadine Netter)
- Won the Orange Bowl doubles fifteen and unders and the Orange Bowl Sportsmanship Award
